We are proponents of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®), developed by the U.S. Green Building Council. Our consultants are LEED Accredited Professionals and have the experience to streamline the LEED application and certification process and assist in all stages of green design and building.
TOM PETERSON, LEED AP, President, Principal Consultant, has three decades experience in the building industry. His background in both commercial and residential projects includes cost estimating, planning, bid and contract administration, progress inspection and project oversight. He has served as a project planner and owner’s representative on a broad array of projects from a multi-million dollar transportation facility expansion to a major acquisition and rehabilitation of over 100 units of senior housing, working with state, federal and local regulations and consistently delivering projects on time and on budget.
Certified as an instructor by the National Association of Home Builders, Peterson has taught multiple construction management courses in the Northeast and Washington. He regularly writes about the housing and construction business. His articles have appeared in Journal of Light Construction, Planning Commissioners Journal, BobVila.com, and Vermont HomeStyle Magazine.
