After graduating college, Chris began what is now a 23 year career in Educational Business Operations, working part-time for both for the Orange North Supervisory Union and Washington West Supervisory Union.
Chris was quickly promoted to Business Manager / Director of Operations for the Orange North Supervisory Union (ONSU), and then in July 2015 Chris agreed to take on the role of Business Manager for a second, neighboring Washington South Supervisory Union (WSSU).
From 2015 to 2018 Chris carefully balanced managing both Supervisory Unions, shepherding both through their respective Act 46 mergers, which culminated in the creation of the Central Vermont Supervisory Union (CVSU).
Once CVSU was formed in July 2018, Chris was named Director of Finance and Operations of the new entity. Chris currently remains in this position, where he oversees the combined budget of 45 million dollars, annually.
With over 20 years in Vermont pre-K-12 education Chris has a deep knowledge and understanding of every aspect of operations, including but not limited to :

Chris’s expertise and dedication to efficient operation of schools is further demonstrated by his co-founding of the non-profit Facilities Maintenance Directors Association, a growing consortium of schools and colleges who are leveraging their buying power and realizing savings on purchases of 20% - 50%.
