Rebuilding Together is a national volunteer based organization. There are 865 chapters located in various cities and towns across all 50 states. Rebuilding Together works to
address the needs of low-income homeowners. Volunteers come together to paint, clean, fix roofs, fix framing, repair stairs and ramps, yard clean up, amongst many other tasks. This ensures that the homeowners can live in a safe and independent environment. Nationally, Rebuilding Together completes about 10,000 projects a year.
Tom has volunteered with the Burlington chapter for over 12 years and recently joined the Board of Directors. The Greater Burlington chapter has completed dozens of projects since they were first organized in 1995. Rebuilding Together completes these projects in a single day with the help of local businesses and volunteers.
Project Day is scheduled for this Saturday, May 9th beginning at 8am. There are two projects both in Milton, VT. The first is located on Railroad St and the other is located on Hardscrabble Rd. They are looking for volunteers to help with demolition, drywall repair, porch and ramp repairs, painting, yard clean up, and more.
